Racism and Homelessness, Exposed: the Stories behind the Statistics

Loading Events

Please join us for the first of our webinar series Racism and Homelessness, Exposed, which follows the publication of Crisis’ research report ‘Where do I belong, where is home?’ Experiences of racism and homelessness.

The first of the webinar series, the Stories Behind the Statistics, focuses around people’s own experiences of a racialised housing system.

The webinar series, delivered jointly by Crisis, the Race Equality Foundation and Heriot-Watt University from November 2024 to March 2025, will bring people together to share and discuss:

  • insights and research findings that build on the evidence base around a racialised housing system in the UK
  • practical solutions to dismantle barriers to effective services for people of colour
  • identified policy solutions to address existing systemic racism within the housing and homelessness system.

This webinar series would interest people working in the housing sector, homelessness services, local authorities, research institutions, and anyone who wants to see racial equity in the homelessness system.
