Black Minds Matter UK is a charity connecting Black individuals and families with free, culturally appropriate talking therapy delivered by qualified Black therapists. The organisation works to break down stigma and redefine therapeutic experiences for Black individuals.

Centre for Mental Health develops mental health research, economic analysis, and policy ideas to create fairer mental health policy and reduce inequalities. They focus on addressing the mental health impacts of poverty, injustice, and discrimination.

Childline offers free, private, and confidential support for anyone under 19 in the UK. The service is available 24/7, with trained counsellors ready to help with any issue, big or small, ensuring children and young people have someone to turn to at all times.

Education Support is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of teachers and education staff in schools, colleges, and universities. Their mission is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of education staff, believing that better mental health leads to better education. They provide immediate emotional support, help institutions improve staff mental health, conduct research, and advocate for policy changes.

Muslim Community Helpline offers confidential, non-judgmental listening and emotional support for women, men, youth, and children. Established in 2007, it aims to provide a supportive service to help members of the community with their needs.

Muslim Women’s Network UK operates a national specialist helpline offering confidential and non-judgmental support, information, and referrals for those at risk of abuse or facing various issues. They primarily support Muslim women but are open to women of any faith or no faith.

NHS 111 offers urgent mental health advice by phone. They provide information and advice to those feeling unsafe, distressed, or worried about their mental health and can connect callers to trained mental health professionals.

Papyrus offers confidential support and advice for young people struggling with suicidal thoughts through their helpline, HOPELINE247. They aim to prevent youth suicide and provide resources to help young people make a safety plan.

Samaritans provides a listening ear for anyone struggling to cope, available 24/7. They offer support to people in distress and work to prevent suicide by providing emotional support through their network of volunteers.

Shout UK is the UK’s first free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone struggling to cope. Since its launch in 2019, Shout has taken over two million conversations, providing immediate support for issues such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
