People from racially marginalised backgrounds are more likely to live in a poor-quality home and less likely to be able to access home improvement support. That is why the Centre for Ageing Better launched a research project with the Race Equality Foundation earlier this year to ensure that support for home improvement was made inclusive and anti-racist.
Grounded in an extensive literature and the experiences of older racially marginalised communities across the country, the research provides key insights and recommendations for meaningful change.
