The Race Equality Foundation has been commissioned by the London Borough of Camden to undertake engagement work with Black, Asian and minority ethnic autistic people and their families.
The project aims to explore experiences across the life course and make recommendations to services to improve autistic people’s experiences and outcomes. Informal discussions will take place with autistic people and their family which will inform the development of a race equality action plan.
The project will also see the delivery of a briefing paper on key issues facing autistic people and learning to be shared.
The work is taking place from 1 September 2021 – 31 March 2022.
