The Race Equality Foundation’s Policy and Practice Team is on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Researcher to spearhead groundbreaking initiatives that tackle racial inequality head-on in the realm of health and care. As we continue to make waves in the fight for equitable healthcare, this pivotal role promises a chance to lead evidence-based transformation and champion change, all while collaborating closely with those with lived experiences.

Having already marked significant achievements, including initiatives spotlighting healthcare for individuals with learning disabilities and enhanced access to health evaluations for those with severe mental illnesses, we’re keen to amplify our impact. The Race Equality Foundation is in search of a trailblazer, someone who can not only uphold meticulous research methodologies but also wield the power of influence to drive tangible progress.

The Senior Researcher will dive into ongoing projects, making an immediate impact. But that’s just the beginning – this role comes with the exciting responsibility of securing new grants and contracts. Crafting new alliances with esteemed universities, think tanks, and the voluntary sector will be a crucial part of this role, as well as harnessing our existing affiliations with initiatives like Health Equals and networks like the Alliance for Racial Justice to instill lasting change.
