DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the first of our webinar series Racism and Homelessness\, Exposed\, which follows the publication of Crisis’ research report ‘Where do I belong\, where is home?’ Experiences of racism and homelessness. \nThe first of the webinar series\, the Stories Behind the Statistics\, focuses around people’s own experiences of a racialised housing system. \nThe webinar series\, delivered jointly by Crisis\, the Race Equality Foundation and Heriot-Watt University from November 2024 to March 2025\, will bring people together to share and discuss: \n\ninsights and research findings that build on the evidence base around a racialised housing system in the UK\npractical solutions to dismantle barriers to effective services for people of colour\nidentified policy solutions to address existing systemic racism within the housing and homelessness system.\n\nThis webinar series would interest people working in the housing sector\, homelessness services\, local authorities\, research institutions\, and anyone who wants to see racial equity in the homelessness system. \nAgenda and presenter biographies TBC. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact research@crisis.org.uk. \nWe hope to see you there!
