We have recently published our Employment Briefing Paper. The brief is by Josh Holden, Research Analyst, New Policy Institute and Carla Ayrton, Senior Researcher, New Policy Institute. It examines the impact of Covid-19 on current employment for Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities and on future employment opportunities post pandemic.

“BAME workers as a group are both more at risk of working in a shut-down sector and more at risk of being in a key worker role with a heightened risk of exposure to Covid-19 at work.”

This work is part of our Race Equity Collaboratives project which is a set of collaborations created to develop an evidence-led narrative and make practical recommendations to better ensure that the recovery phase from COVID-19 in the UK addresses racial inequity.  You can find more information on the project here.
